Shipping Policy

What does MidwestChair.com sell?

MidwestChair.com sells the highest quality of brand new furniture. Products ship directly from the manufacturers to the end-user.

Where does MidwestChair.com ship their products to?

MidwestChair.com currently ships products to the United States and Canada. MidwestChair.com does not ship products outside this area.

To what type of location will MidwestChair.com ship their products?

Commercial Deliveries:

Standard shipping rates apply when shipping dock to dock.  This means that the products sold are being shipped to a commercial location with access to a dock.  Carrier drivers are responsible for getting the merchandise to the end of the truck, and it is the customer’s responsibility to unload the merchandise.  Please note that on large orders, it would be beneficial to have more than 1 person available to help unload, as drivers will wait 1 hour before additional charges apply. 

Please note that most products ship out LTL and carriers deliver between 8AM – 5PM.  If you require a shipping time outside of those regular business hours, please contact MidwestChair.com’s Customer Service Team at (888) 509-1124 before placing your order, and we will gladly assist you.

Residential Deliveries:

MidwestChair.com will ship to residential addresses.  Typical added charges for residential deliveries range from $75 - $275 depending on the size of your order. Please contact MidwestChair.com’s Customer Service Team at (888) 509-1124 before placing your order, and we will gladly assist you and let you know up front what the residential up charge will be.

What if I need help unloading my merchandise from the truck?

Drivers will assist in unloading for an up charge or $75 - $275 depending on the size of the load.  This option must be ordered and confirmed in advance by MidwestChair.com before an order ships.  If you require an inside delivery, please contact MidwestChair.com’s Customer Service Team at (888) 509-1124 before placing your order, and we will gladly assist you.

When will I receive my order?

MidwestChair.com prides itself on its industry leading lead times. Most of our Quick-Ship chairs ship out the same day as ordered! Quick-Ship Barstools ship out 2-3 days from order placement. Please specify on your order if you need your order rushed so we can keep an “extra eye” on your order to ensure that it arrives as per schedule.  Custom-made orders typically ship between 7-14 days from date of order.  Please let us know if you have any special needs for an earlier delivery, and we will try our hardest to arrange it for you.  If we cannot meet your special delivery time, WE WILL LET YOU KNOW before you place your order!

How much will shipping cost me?

MidwestChair.com offers the best cost-effective rates to you – the customer.  Our goal is to get you the best product at the lowest cost, not to make money on shipping charges! MidwestChair.com will shop around for the best rate for you, and pass the savings straight to you – the customer!  MidwestChair.com has immediate access to our shipping rate database and therefore can give you your rate up front, right away!  We won’t have to call you back with estimates, but we will give you the final rate right when you ask for it!

Pricing and Availability

Prices and Lead Times are subject to change at any time.  Pricing errors can occasionally occur at checkout due to computer errors.  MidwestChair.com is not responsible for these errors and will notify you immediately upon finding such errors.

What should I do if I receive damaged merchandise?

When your products deliver, please open the packaging while the driver is still there.  You can request that the driver wait while you unpackaged your merchandise.  If there are any damages, PLEASE NOTE CLEARLY ON THE BILL OF LADING what the damages are, and please contact MidwestChair.com’s Customer Service Team at (888) 509-1124 so we can ensure that the problem will be taken care of.  If no damages are noted on the Bill of Lading, MidwestChair.com cannot be held responsible for future damage claims.  All of the merchandise that we sell ships out in a new and perfect condition, and is signed out as so by the drivers upon pickup from our facilities.

MidwestChair.com will arrange to replace or repair your merchandise immediately.  We do not wait until a claim is filed.  Claims usually take 3-4 weeks to process, and your satisfaction is too important to us to wait that long to take care of your problem.  We FIRST take care of you - the customer, and then we deal with the claims.

MidwestChair.com might ask you to email some pictures of the damaged goods, so please snap some photos as soon as you realize any damages.  This helps us with our claims with the carriers.  Please hang on to the packing material originally used to help with the claims process.

How do I know if my order has been received and that it is correct?

MidwestChair.com will email you a confirmation as soon as your order is placed.  Please review the confirmation that all the information is correct including items, qty’s, sizes, colors, shipping information, and phone numbers.  MidwestChair.com cannot be held responsible for any errors not corrected before items ship out.  Of course, you can also call MidwestChair.com’s Customer Service Team at (888) 509-1124 and we will gladly confirm your order for you!

How will I know when my products ship?

MidwestChair.com will email you as soon as your merchandise ships with the shipping information, including carrier name and tracking #.  You can then track your freight online or via phone with the carrier directly.  Of course, you can also call MidwestChair.com’s Customer Service Team at (888) 509-1124 and we will gladly track your merchandise for you!

Color / Texture Disclaimer

Not all browsers and computer monitors are the same, and colors and textures may not be properly viewed as a result of factors beyond our control.  Therefore, MidwestChair.com cannot guarantee that the colors, stains, textures, and upholstery options will be perfectly accurate.

When placing an order, you are accepting the limitations inherent in not directly viewing samples.  Absent your obtaining such samples, your completion of an order constitutes your waiver of any claim you may have due to dissatisfaction with the products color, texture, stains and upholstery options.  If you would like to see a physical sample, please call MidwestChair.com’s Customer Service Team at (888) 509-1124 and we will gladly help you in obtaining fabrics, vinyl’s, wood finishes and metal paint swatches!

Returns and Cancellations

Can I return my order?

As long as an order has not shipped, or has not begun its manufacturing process, you may cancel your order for a full refund.  Custom-made furniture cannot be returned because it was made specifically as per your specifications, and therefore cannot be resold.

In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your received order, you may return it within 3 days in its original packaging only.  All returned items must be in new, unused condition.  All parts, accessories, and manuals must be included.  A 35% restocking fee applies to returned orders.  You must call in advance and obtain a return authorization # before sending back your shipment.  Only in-stock items can be returned.  Customer must pay shipping and handling.  All items must be returned in original manufacture’s packaging and will be inspected at time of arrival.  In case of damage to a returned product, you will be charged the items original price as it appears on your order.

MidwestChair.com will process your refund once we are notified from the manufacture that all products have been returned, inspected, and found to be in good condition.

Do I have to pay sales tax?

Illinois State Tax is automatically applied to any orders at checkout if the order is shipping to an Illinois address.

How do I place my order?

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged when your order is placed.

What are my payment options?

You may choose to pay by credit card (American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Discover) or Check by Mail.  Returned checks are subject to a $30.00 returned check fee. MidwestChair.com reserves the right to verify funds and to refuse any form of payment.

MidwestChair.com is your one-stop source for all your furniture needs.  We ship from numerous manufacturers located across the country.  All products shown are backed by the manufacturer’s standard warranty.  Any products being returned or repaired due to defects are backed by the manufacturer’s repair and replacement policies.
